Vero Beach Nannies strives to match each family with a highly qualified and suitable caregiver. Caregivers referred by Vero Beach Nannies are not employees, agents, or representatives of the agency. Once a family hires a caregiver through Vero Beach Nannies, the family enters into a direct employment relationship with the caregiver, establishing the terms of employment. Vero Beach Nannies does not assume responsibility for the family’s or caregiver's compliance with Florida employment laws regarding tax withholding, social security, Medicare, unemployment, or immigration laws. The agency is also not responsible for providing health insurance or other employee benefits for the caregivers.
A non-refundable registration fee of $300 is required upon submitting your application to begin the search process. The placement fee is due once the family offers a position and the nanny accepts. Any past-due balances will be charged to the account on file with Vero Beach Nannies.
$2,000 for a full-time nanny placement
$1,800 for a part-time nanny placement
$200 per week for a temporary nanny placement (1-10 weeks, $200-$2,000)
$2,000 for a Newborn Care Specialist
$2,000 for a Household Manager
Babysitting Placement Fees
Babysitter placement has a one-time registration fee of $100. A $20 service fee is charged each day that babysitting is requested.
Hotel babysitting has a one-time registration fee of $50. A fee of $20 is charged for each day childcare services are needed.
Wedding babysitting services has a one-time registration fee of $150. Each nanny service day incurs a fee of $20 per nanny.
According to Florida and federal law, nannies must be classified as W-2 household employees, not independent contractors. Vero Beach Nannies helps guide families through the proper setup for payroll compliance to ensure the family is adhering to the legal requirements of paying a household employee.
90-Day Guarantee
If the family finds the nanny to be unsatisfactory or if the nanny resigns within the first 90 days, Vero Beach Nannies will attempt to provide a qualified replacement at no additional charge by providing family with a minimum of three additional childcare provider profile packets within 60-days.
Families are prohibited from entering private agreements with providers to avoid Vero Beach Nannies' fees. Should a family refer a Vero Beach Nannies contractor to another individual who then hires the caregiver, the family is liable for all applicable placement fees. This agreement protects Vero Beach Nannies' efforts and ensures fairness in the hiring process.
Any disputes or claims arising from this agreement will be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the arbitration held in Florida. This agreement is governed by Florida law. The prevailing party in any dispute will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees.
The family agrees to release Vero Beach Nannies, its members, officers, and employees from any claims or liability, including those resulting from negligence. Vero Beach Nannies is a referral service only and is not liable for any acts or omissions by the nanny, including negligence or intentional conduct. The family agrees to indemnify and hold Vero Beach Nannies harmless from any claims made by the nanny. If Vero Beach Nannies determines that a nanny is working under exploitative conditions, the agency reserves the right to terminate the placement without offering a replacement or refund.
This agreement ensures compliance with Florida employment regulations, provides transparency in the nanny placement process, and protects both the family and Vero Beach Nannies.
